Apples & cinnamon are not just “fall” flavors, these are anytime flavors. These popsicles are almost too tasty to just stop at one. Watching the kids splash in the pool, or snuggled fireside I’d gladly enjoy this frozen treat!
Cinnamon apple popsicle ingredients
- Red apples
- Cinnamon
- Milk
- Sugar or sweetener
- Popsicle molds
The amounts you use are up to you. For a standard set of 6 popsicles I use approximately 1 apple, 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon, just over 2 cups of milk and sweetener to taste. (1-3 tablespoons).
Apples
Big, juicy, red apples are what we’re talking about here. Honeycrip, Gala, Fuji, Braeburn, Red Delicious, MacIntosh…
Slice them thinly leaving the skin on to add a beautiful touch to your frozen pops. Because you’re leaving the skin on you’ll want to wash them thoroughly and buy organic if you can.

Cinnamon
Did you know that cinnamon is so high in antioxidants that Healthline claims it beat out superfoods like garlic and oregano in a test of 26 different spices? They also go on to note cinnamon helps reduce inflammation and can lower blood sugar levels.
Although there are several types of cinnamon, any variety will work. You no doubt already have some in your cupboard!
Milk
Here you can use any milk you like. Plant based milks work just fine too. Note that these pops are not going to be “creamy” but instead icy and refreshing.
Sugar or sweetener
It’s a toss up for me between sugar, honey or maple syrup here as all are delicious. If you need these treats to have no added sugar than by all means substitute your favorite sweetener!

Popsicle molds
Any mold will do! Cute or trendy molds from online or from the dollar store… it doesn’t matter.
For ease of pouring into your molds mix your cinnamon, sweetener and milk in a container with a pour spout. Amounts of each depend on the size and number of molds you will be filling and should be seasoned and sweetened to taste.
Popsicle assembly
Place slices of apple in the molds and cover with your milk mixture. Fanning out the apple slices looks really pretty.
Pop the sticks in and place in the freezer for about 6 hours.
When you’re ready to enjoy your icy cinnamon apple popsicles run the popsicle mold under cool tap water for a few seconds to release the popsicle. EASY!!!
